3D Phased Array Antenna
The primary antenna is a passive, phase-controlled array antenna with a flat aperture. The azimuth range is measured by turning the antenna. The elevation range is measured by varying the radar lobe by phase control. |
In reconnaissance, the aim of the ASR radar sensor is to identify objects within a predefined reconnaissance area at a distance of up to 300 km and an elevation of up to 10 km. During operations all important parameters are measured by an automatic testing system before being displayed on the radar workstation. The same applies to the extensive monitoring displays provided by the V207 high-power amplifier. The evaluation cabin workstations can be up to 300m away from the radar antenna.
